New marketplace capabilities, workflow improvements, and important platform changes.

LATEST RELEASE

3.2.0 · Seller tools, package contents and media previews

Oct 21, 2026
  • Added Seller API pagination, status and title filters, USD sales summaries, and scoped editing of draft descriptions and titles.
  • Improved storefront validation and logo rendering; clarified that custom domains need hosting and TLS configuration after DNS verification.
  • Made collaboration responses repeat-safe and kept actionable errors beside invitation controls.
  • Collapsed Operations by product and grouped the new-product form into sections with category, engine and starter-kit dependent fields.
  • Fixed 3D preview framing and added GLTF animation selection and playback controls. ZIP previews can include local GLTF buffers and textures.
  • Added package file trees from ZIP and Unity package metadata, plus seller-triggered indexing of existing clean packages. Unsupported packages retain their uploaded-file listing.
  • Added opt-in public model and audio previews for clean uploaded files. Paid source files remain private; sellers explicitly choose whether to publish a preview copy.

PREVIOUS RELEASE

3.1.0 · Better bundles, mobile video and app downloads

Oct 18, 2026
  • Redesigned bundle pages with a centered layout, clear asset counts, a compact purchase summary and savings based on current product prices.
  • Improved bundle cards with uncropped cover images and aligned purchase links.
  • Fixed product video embeds being cropped on mobile: the player and its controls now fit the responsive video frame.
  • Added a dedicated Download Assetora page with Google Play, Microsoft Store and itch.io links, accessible from navigation and the footer.
  • Improved release-note spacing while preserving the full update history.
  • Fixed a theme-icon error that could leave the previous page visible after navigation, and restored route loading feedback and prefetching.
  • Added administrator email blocking for account sign-in and registration, including existing sessions and Google sign-in.

PREVIOUS RELEASE

3.0.0 · Clearer discovery, compatibility, and purchase decisions

Sep 28, 2026
  • Redirected anonymous cart and free-acquisition requests to sign-in with a safe return link to the asset, instead of a generic error page.
  • Replaced zero-star placeholders with No reviews yet on asset cards, product pages, and Quick Preview; excluded deleted reviews when refreshing ratings.
  • Restored real public counts for assets, sellers, members, reviews, visits, views, and downloads in a spaced lower-homepage block; database failures display Unavailable instead of a fabricated zero.
  • Unified Minimum supported, Tested with, and Seller reported compatibility across purchase facts, version tables, technical details, and Quick Preview. Seller declarations and clean-file checks no longer imply runtime verification.
  • Relabeled seller package checks and editor compatibility text to distinguish file validation from actual engine testing; missing runtime evidence displays Not verified.
  • Replaced Safety score with the number of clean-scanned files and an explicit explanation of scan limits; clarified listing completeness and package-reported metadata.
  • Moved real screenshots, optional video, actual download filenames, dependencies, limitations, and license/refund/support links into the asset evaluation area beside purchase controls. Removed unrelated fallback screenshots and moved team details below the description.
  • Suppressed placeholder dependencies, empty FAQ entries, and empty version tabs; preserved full descriptions, changelogs, and technical details below the purchase summary.
  • Kept search, category, engine, price, and sorting in the main catalog controls; moved rating into More Filters and kept sorting visible on mobile. Added related results with relaxed filters when available.
  • Normalized tag labels and selected synonyms for display, creation, and filtering while retaining legacy tag matches; expanded search to include seller store names.
  • Simplified primary navigation to browse, free assets, selling, and search, while retaining additional destinations in the secondary menu.
  • Added a public selling page using current commission settings and existing pricing calculations for a $50 example, with explicit disclosure of variable payment costs and unavailable settings.
  • Restored product-specific license anchors at the existing /licenses route and added license, refund, and support links near checkout without changing Stripe or legal terms.
  • Refined equal-height asset cards with uncropped covers, two-line titles, one engine line, aligned prices, and compact Preview actions; tightened homepage spacing, the seller calculation, and keyboard focus restoration.
  • Added public-catalog and storage audit tools plus moderator metadata warnings and public clarification labels for known malformed type/pipeline values. Ambiguous type, pipeline, and engine values are flagged for evidence review rather than silently replaced.
  • Distinguished catalog/search service failures from genuine empty results, preserving filter state instead of claiming there are zero assets.
  • Added regression tests for unrated/free assets, absent video, tag aliases, placeholder content, and evidence-based compatibility; retained previous release history.

PREVIOUS RELEASE

2.9.0 · Marketplace browsing and product evaluation

Sep 27, 2026
  • Added one-click Quick Preview to asset cards with on-demand screenshots, video playback, seller, category, pricing, ratings, review counts, license, and last-updated details.
  • Connected preview purchase and free-download buttons to the existing cart and acquisition workflows, with a link to the full product page.
  • Added prominent engine versions, platform support, readiness indicators, and explicit Built-in, URP, and HDRP compatibility statuses to product evaluation.
  • Added seller pipeline selectors for supported, unsupported, material-conversion-required, and untested configurations; Unity products must declare versions and all pipeline statuses before submission, approval, or publication.
  • Replaced the catalog sidebar with a horizontal search, category, price, rating, and engine bar, plus an advanced filter dialog and a full-screen mobile filter drawer.
  • Retained subcategory, tag, price range, engine version, platform, readiness, starter-kit, updated-date, and license filters; added Unity pipeline shortcuts and removable active-filter chips.
  • Added debounced search and immediate primary filtering through client navigation, with shareable URL state, browser back/forward support, clear controls, and result counts.
  • Added Markdown Write/Preview controls to both seller product forms using the existing sanitized renderer, with improved headings, nested lists, tables, quotes, code blocks, images, and checklist styling.
  • Collapsed owner preset submission behind a compact disclosure and simplified empty states; added browser JSON validation, accessible feedback, and the full sensitive-data warning.
  • Required an active acquisition entitlement for preset submissions and downloads, including sellers; preserved moderation before preset publication.
  • Strengthened the existing product review workflow with submission-state and metadata checks, approval transition checks, a moderator quality checklist, compatibility details, and editable seller-facing feedback.
  • Added native modal focus containment, Escape-to-close, focus restoration, labeled controls, visible focus styles, responsive layouts, and scrollable Markdown tables and code.
  • Added a public-data-only preview endpoint restricted to published assets, loading media only when requested; retained the existing database schema and supported-pipeline filter contract.
  • Added regression coverage for pipeline declarations, preset authorization, Markdown structures, preview loading and media controls, and desktop/mobile filter navigation.
