Security Alarm Network connects security devices into a working alarm system for Unity. Each device needs a valid connection to the controller, so disabling a relay affects the devices behind it. A backup route can restore those connections.
Cameras check their field of view and line of sight. Motion sensors detect moving targets, while laser tripwires detect targets crossing a beam. When a sensor reports an intrusion, connected doors close and sirens activate. The alarm stays active until reset or disarmed.
Each device has separate enabled, power and damage states. Disconnect individual cables, disable a branch or turn off the controller to see how the network responds.
Doors can open, close or hold their last state when disconnected. Sensor ranges, detection delays, collision layers, door movement and siren settings are adjustable in the Inspector.
Place the connected network prefab in your scene, or arrange individual devices and configure your own connections. Add ThreatTarget and a 3D Collider to a character to make it detectable.
The system can be used for security areas in stealth, heist, horror and exploration games. The demo intruder follows a scripted route; your game can use its own character controller or navigation system.
